Thirty-eight years ago a group of Clarkson/Lorne Park Churches realized that many people in our community needed assistance. Presently eight local churches provide funding and are represented on the Board of Directors which hold monthly meetings at the various churches. Each church has 2 Board members who are very dedicated to helping our community. Our Church has been an active participant since the beginning of the organization.

CCV’s main project is driving Seniors and/or incapacitated people who have no other means of transportation to local doctors’ offices, clinics and therapy classes. Christ Church United provides us with office space and a telephone; volunteer Telephone Receptionists take calls and find drivers Monday to Friday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

A Fun and Fitness program is also held weekly at Sheridan Villa.

Volunteers are always needed to be drivers, telephone receptionists and helpers for Fun and Fitness.
