As a matter of course, funerals held within the church building are for members and adherents who have regularly participated in the life and work of the congregation. Making such arrangements are normally made through the minister or the church office in conjunction with the involved funeral home. Due to the unpredictable nature of funerals, advance notice is certainly not a requirement. We see it as a ministry to those in our faith community, as a celebration of their life as a gift from God, but also coming together to mourn losses amongst friends.
